Master the Building Blocks in 3rd Grade!

As a major transition year, 3rd grade lays vital foundations for future learning at J.C. Sawyer Elementary School. Our dedicated teachers help each student master key skills in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies to equip them for higher grades.  

Through engaging lessons and hands-on activities, our 3rd graders sharpen their literacy abilities, tackle complex math concepts like fractions and area, conduct interactive science experiments, and gain broader knowledge of geography, history and culture. We balance challenging curriculum with fun enrichment like art, music, and PE.

Supportive one-on-one guidance combined with collaborative learning gives students the tools to thrive. Field trips, family nights, and traditions like our annual Tanzania Unit make it an exciting year!
